Like Button issue (minor)

I have noticed for some time that when I am viewing another person’s page for a specific image, there is a bit of a bug in the like button. When I click “Like” (thumbs up icon) the button will shade and go hollow as one expects when recording a like. This all works fine. But when I scroll down to read the Discussion or other on that page and the “Like” and “Bookmark” icons scroll off-screen, there is a drop-down shade with the “Like” and “Bookmark” buttons displayed. These are almost never updated to reflect a Like click if I had done so already. This is not a big problem but rather an annoyance for an old person like me. I often forget to Like and image I know I will like, but then I go down and do a long read of the description and decide that I need to like the image. Problem is, I do not always remember if I liked an image or not and without the shade Like button updating, I am forced to scroll back up and see. I had thought that this sort of thing was planned because it included some as-yet unexplained obvious feature for the Like button, but then if I should leave the page and return, the shade button is then updated properly. In any case, this would save me from having to scroll back to the top. It becomes an annoyance when I am reviewing many images and I would like to leave a page while down in the Discussion or below.
