ND Filter for taking photo of the Sun

Hey,

I want to take pictures of the sun my nikon z50ii + 150-500 sigma.
Does this filter will be enough in order to protect my equipment ?

It is a ND 1.000.000, is it enough ?

Apparently it is able to do it as advertised. I would feel a little more comfortable with a passband chart though, I would want to make sure that it’s not passing any near IR.
