Keeping stars their natural colour

I'm really keen to keep stars their natural colour whilst also delving into the world of narrowband.  My first attempt is the Crescent nebula below where I used Ha data combined with LRGB.  Please would you point me at any other examples of this ... I'd love to see an example of HaOIIISIILRGB.

Here is mine ngc 1499 with natural star color.

The star colour data did not come from my data set but a jpeg photo of a friend of mine in the same region (my observatory is broken ATM so I cannot take color data). I isolate the star and use the RGB star as chrominance layer and my narrowband stars as Luminance. Then combine them back into the HSS data.

Incorrect RGB Colours after PixInsight Channel Combination
