G’day Astronomy Enthusiasts!
I think most of you will be interested in this so give it a read! Me and my team have designed a discord server for Southern Hemisphere astronomy. There are channels for;
  • Seeking help with astronomy
  • Sharing your images
  • Promoting your social media profiles
  • Getting great target and location ideas
  • Meeting more people from the Southern Hemisphere.

And much much (seriously) more! ON TOP OF THAT, we are the proud home of the SAC Telescope, a collective of Southern Hemisphere astrophotographers that collaborate together on incredible targets. Its purpose is to capture rarely seen objects in deep space, with the goal of capturing the BEST image EVER taken of a given target! If this sounds like something that would be interesting for you or a friend, click the link below to join the Southern Astronomical Collective! I’ll see you there https://discord.gg/NavxVK2wkn

Great initiative. I particularly like the idea of a list of Southern Hemisphere targets.
It does sometimes feel a little lonely south of the Equator.

Thank you @John Binney  !
It is a shame that the astrophotography community happens to be smaller for us southerners, but that shouldn't stop us from capitalising on the amazing targets exclusive to the South!
