I’m looking for a low cost (under $40) longer life battery or battery solution for my Canon EOS Rebel T7 so I don’t have to change battery’s during photo sessions. Any recommendation?

Yes, you can find USB battery adapter replacements.
So it's a "fake" battery that goes into your Canon, attached to USB or plug socket power.
Never change a battery again! very handy, especially in the cold nights when a battery lasts 10 minutes.
If you search for "Canon Rebel T7 AC Adapter" you will probably find loads on amazon or eBay.
I used one with USB power on my canon 1200d (or Rebel T5). And it works great.
The canon even has a little rubber bit next to the battery compartment where the cable runs through.
it usually runs you about $20-ish
Or, if you want to stay portable, you might need to consider a battery grip.
But they tend to be quite a bit more than $40, and usually "only" extend the battery life by a factor of 2. Which on a cold night, is still nothing significant.

Agree with the above. I got one like these and have never worried again about the battery of my Canon for astrophotography
2nd on @Steven de Vet post. I use a Canon SL2 and the dummy battery to AC power has been one less thing to worry about in the field. They’re pretty cheap on Amazon as well. That’s where I got mine.

I agree with all the suggestions above. I would add the comment, that you can use a power bank with a higher capacity with it, if you try to stay away from a wall outlet. I did power my EOS5D Mark II and a Bresser Exos1 mount with motor drive with a 30.000mAH power bank. I had no issues at all. I guess, I never used half of the capacity during a night.
