Hey all!
Just starting out in AP and the first thing I want to say is THANK YOU! I have many hobbies and the community associated with Astronomy and AP is by far the most welcoming and encouraging I've ever come across! I'm in California for a little while longer and then will be heading to Northern GA towards the end of Summer. I don't have any astro clubs around, so I'm self-teaching and it's because of folks like you all that I'm still pursuing this hobby instead of reselling the $3,000 worth of equipment I purchased up front. Thank you again (and in advance) for being such a supportive and non-elitist group of people!
