Hello!

This L-Bracket (and guide scope) attaches on to the DEC bracket of my Star Adventurer. It normally uses hole A, but I want to move the camera back for better balance. Hole B is where I should go, however, it's not deep enough for a standard 1/4 <> 3/8 adapter. This leaves hole C, but neither are on the center line axis. I guess I could grind the adapter down to make it fit, but I'd rather not. I can't turn the bracket around. Are there issues using the off-axis mount point?

None that I can see. The overall balance on the RA axis is what matters.

The Star Adventurer is a very nice little mount that in my experience needs some tweaking in order to get good guiding. I have spent quite a while trying to get the best possible results from that little mount, but at least for me this is still a fig...
