I'm "fairly new" in AP. I started just over a year ago and Wow… what journey already.
I think we're lucky to be in Texas there are some great dark skies in West Texas!

Hello Nick,
We have great skies in West Texas for sure.  I am right outside Midland.  The wind and the light from flares is a different matter.  
Still love the AP in the backyard though.
