Siril Can't Process Stacked Files That Seastar Did?

Hello and welcome. I'd like to ask everyone who is using Seastar and Siril to process their fit files.
I stumbled upon an error when trying to run a script after I added all of the fit files from my Seastar and ran down a script in Siril. I stumbled on this error that Siril said that it couldn't process sequences with these files that Seastar did in its deep sky stacking menu, like those fit files whose names do not start with lights. And it's pretty weird to me that even it is fit files, Siril can't recognise these files with these names, and it is quite sad you can't include those unless their names start with lights. Has anyone tried to do this and encountered this error?

I believe there is a script available that is specifically for processing Seestar images. Also, if you're on Windows, it's easy to rename a set of files using F2.

I do Use The Seastar script.
The one thing I did noticed that lately, I stacked like 100 images or frames with my seastar in its deep sky stacking menu,  and included the fit files too from both folders. And noticed that Siril couldn't recognise these files' names starting with dso stacked and stacked named fit files. And it was weird to me for some reason.

For the Seestar script, I don't think that you need to prefix them with "lights", but they do need to be in a folder named "lights" within your home directory. I used the script a couple of times based on the workflow presented by the Youtuber, Deep Space Astro, in his video "Siril's New Script for Seestar Data Stacking & Processing". It is a great video tutorial about using the script.

But I have switched to stacking them myself in Siril based on a workflow presented by the Youtuber, Cuiv The Lazy Geek in his video "Amazing images with the Seestar Smart Telescope"

I am currently trying to learn from them both, but I can't. In these videos, they mentioned Graxpert is undoable for me cause somehow my pc can't install Graxpert, so I had to stick to Siril instead.

Not sure i fully understand the issue here, could you explain in detail where it all goes wrong?

But in any case, i will say that you cannot process both debayered and raw files at the same time because the file format is different (even if both are .fit). Debayered files have 3 layers, which is probably what your stacked files are. Raw frames have 1 layer and need to be debayered turning them into 3 layer images. Then you can stack any number of them.

I recommend that you read through Siril's instructions before proceeding, it sounds like you are trying to do something that makes little sense so its hard to give advice.

Anyone Know Effective Siril Workflows For Processing Different Types Of DSO Seastar Data?
I've heard Siril now has a workflow menu script that allows us to automate a sequence of scripts and commands, so we don't have to remember which scripts to run every time for processing Seastar data. I haven't tried it yet, but first, I want to lear...
