Hi,

Can I use a Lunt Solar Systems ST 50/350 LS50THa/B400PT for photographing the sun with a Mono OSC or do I need something more to this telescope?

TIA

Yes, absolutely. But I recommend you upgrade the blocking filter to a B600 or so. Search Cloudy Nights and you’ll find a lot of helpful discussion and worth reading over before you buy. Here’s an example of one link https://www.cloudynights.com/topic/772006-setting-up-image-train-on-ls50tha/?hl=%2Blunt+%2B50#entry11113377

you can also search astrobin for captures taken with this Lunt 50THa too

Cheers @astro_rocketeer for the reply!
Is there a possibility to attach a reducer to the telescope so you get a wider FOV for photography?
