Hello all!
Just a newbie here from Auburn, Michigan. (Not Auburn Hills) I’ve heard a lot about this site and thought I’d stop in and see what its about. I’m a veteran observer that has recently gotten into the newer types of AP. I used to do a lot of film photography back in the day of hyper-sensitized film. Thats going back a ways.

Any way I’ll be watching and hopefully trying to learn more on the processing side! I’m a Gimp user and have gotten quite fond of it, however I’m not as efficient as I’d certainly like to be. I’ve found PY-Astro’s Plugins to be a very nice package that was free and saves time thats for sure as I’m not that great with manual processing techniques.

At some point I’ll upload a few of my pix. A bit embarrassed with most of mine as I’m just not good at processing them.

Well thats about it for me and I look forward to what this forum has to offer!

Have a great day!

Dale
