Hello everyone! I have recently started imaging again after many years. I have an Esprit 100 and ASI2600MC Pro which I am really enjoying using, certainly beats using film like I used to do!

I only wish we had more clear nights up here in Scotland!

Fit like Peter. You certainly have some of the darkest skies outside the city, and hope you will be able to enjoy these with your rejuvenated hobby.

Welcome from El Paso, Tx, USA.  Yes, I started back in the late 1980's with a film camera and manual mount.  I got discourage very fast and just enjoyed visual astronomy until the just recently.  This hobby now consumes my life… I'm sure my wife is sick of hearing about the Bortle Scale and how much a cooled camera is going to cost us.

Hi Peter, just seen your post and thought I would say 'Hi'. I live in the area too, actually not far from Stonehaven. Been imaging on and off for the past 12 years but have recently had some renewed enthusiasm.
I'm also a member of Aberdeen Astronomical Society if you fancy dropping by sometime - there aren't many other imagers to chat to!

Looking forward to seeing more of your images.
Cheers
Neal

Parfocality issues with LRGB set ?
Hello, I recently bought an LRGB Pro set from Antlia, 1.25" mounted in a ZWO wheel on a new APO 100mm f/5.8 refractor. When making focus on the Luminance filter every thing was fine with pinpoint stars. I then launched a test series of LRGB imag...

Spacer Question
Hello, I recently purchased the Esprit 100 scope and the ASI2600mc camera. I plan on using the flattener that comes with the telescope. The backfocus with the flattener to the sensor should be 63mm. The camera's backfocus is 17.5mm. I am guessing...
