Is there still a data pool on here to hone your processing on ?

AstroBin doesn't offer data pools anymore, at this time, but you can download some data from Deep Sky West and there are many users who share their data publicly. I think @Wei-Hao Wang, if I remember correctly.

Hi David:

I just found Jim Misti's image data the other day. He's uploaded TONS of stacked LRGB(H) FITS files:

http://www.mistisoftware.com/astronomy/index_fits.htm

I've only worked on one so far, but it was definitely a good challenge sharpening-wise, compared with my slightly undersampled setup, or with Hubble data. Speaking of Hubble data, the MAST archive is a great source for that, and it's a LOT of fun to process:

The challenge with Hubble is figuring out which target/files you want, and then removing artifacts. At least, that was the hardest part for me!

Have fun!

CS,
Mark

The link to my raw files can be found on this Astrobin page:

We may no longer have unlimited Google Drive access in a year. So I can't guarantee what will happen after that.

Let me know when that happens, I'll put it up on AstroBin's storage for you!
