I am wondering if anyone has any experience with this combination and how much backfocus/extension I would need. Thanks.

I might be wrong but isn't coma at the edge of the FOV for a Newtonian, which isn't visible when using a Barlow lens.  So, wouldn't that mean coma wouldn't be seen with a Barlow lens, especially a 4× Barlow, this making a coma corrector redundant?

To be honest I dont know. I assumed this myself and seeing I'll be using a 9mm sensor it might be null but I do know f4 scopes exhibit coma much much worse than just the edges.

I would not use a coma corrector when using a barlow or a PowerMate. Due to the very, very small FoV you will not see any coma on the sensor.
